Online Student Application

Two easy steps to register
Welcome to the DSS Office at Lake Washington Institute of Technology. We are here to support you and committed to providing support services to all students with disabilities in compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.

The transition to college can be especially challenging for adults with disabilities. The DSS office provides a wide variety of services to help your education from being hindered by physical, sensory or psychological barriers.

We are committed to respecting the privacy and dignity of all our students with disabilities and empowering you with the tools you need for academic success. Our services are free to students who qualify under the Americans with Disabilities Act and section 504, State of Washington Laws of 1994, Chapter 105.

DSS keeps a record of disability documentation. DSS will ensure that disability-related documents are kept confidential and shared with college personnel on a limited and need-to-know basis only. Your information cannot be released to anyone not employed by LWTech without your signed permission on an “Authorization for Release of Information” form.
